CHURCH LIFE AT GBC

10AM SERVICE

This service is held in our ground floor room, which has access directly from the street, and includes singing, prayer, a Bible talk and monthly communion. It is an encouraging time together followed by morning tea. There is no dress code and no pressure to participate unless you choose to.

MISSIONS

We are actively involved in local and overseas missions. We prayerfully, financially and practically support a number of missionaries serving in/with missions in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. We also seek to reach our local communities through events, relationships and partnerships with local groups and other churches.

PASTORAL CARE

The focus of our church is people. This means caring for one another is at the heart of who we are. We have teams intentionally providing pastoral care, prayer and companionship, as well as a church pantry and bread run for people who may be doing it tough.

PRAYER

Prayer is central to who we are as a community of people following Jesus. If you have a prayer request, please email [email protected]. We would love to pray for you.

LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups are an important part of our church life. They are smaller groups of people who meet together for prayer, Bible study and encouragement. We have a variety of groups meeting at various times and places.

ART/CRAFT GROUPS

Our art and craft groups meet during term time and provide an intentional space for people to use and enjoy the God-given gift of creativity. The craft group meets from 10am to midday on Wednesdays, and the pastel group from 9.30am to midday on Thursdays during school terms.
